Ainsley Patrick

Biography

I began playing beach volleyball as extra practice to improve my indoor game, but soon loved playing this sport outside more and was hooked when I discovered the wonderful community. I have met so many wonderful people through my sport and continue to look forward to traveling to compete against and befriend more. Outside of volleyball, I love to cook, be outdoors, and read. I got my bachelor's degree in psychology and love learning more in this field and applying it to my life. After playing for 3 years at Tulane University and completing a bachelor's of science , I am pursuing a master's degree in psychology with research in sports psychology at California State University Northridge while using my remaining 2 years of eligibility. Building confidence and focusing on mental health is so important to overall well-being and performance, one thing I've noticed in my own game and hope to help others understand as well!
