Charlie Piller

Biography

I am a (2024) graduate at Wayzata High School. Three year starter on the high school varsity team, a captain playing as a center midfielder. My club team is the Minnesota Thunder Academy ECNL 19 team coached by Mark Yueill. Due to both of my older siblings playing soccer growing up, I learned about the game at a very young age. Being at the field with them and watching them play gave me a great understanding of the game and the many life lessons that can be learned. These lessons are leadership, teamwork, and respect (for coaches, referees, and all players), which have and will continue to help me develop as a soccer player and teammate. These valuable lessons will also help better shape me to play at a higher level. When I am not playing soccer, I volunteer weekly at a local food shelter which has allowed me to take a step back and truly appreciate what I have and the incredible opportunities that are available to me.
