Biography

This fall, Christian will bring his talents to Oberlin College in Ohio, where he is eager to join the Yeomen and continue his football career. His long-term goal is to pursue a pre-physical therapy degree, ultimately leading to a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Christian Chambliss is known for his hard work, intelligence, and dedication. Family-oriented and respectful, he balances his athletic and academic pursuits with a genuine passion for helping others. His hobbies, including swimming and volunteering, reflect his commitment to service and personal growth.

Career Highlights:

Starting his journey on the field at just 6 years old, Christian Chambliss discovered his passion for football early on. Before fully committing to football, Christian honed his athleticism through basketball and baseball, showcasing his versatility and competitive spirit. At Parkview High School, Christian excelled both on and off the field. He played key roles as Center and Guard, demonstrating his strength and strategic understanding of the game. During his time playing football at Parkview, his team advanced to the playoffs for four consecutive years. In addition to his football skills, Christian showcased his athletic abilities on the track team during his sophomore year, participating in the shot put. Christian’s academic achievements are equally impressive. Graduating high school with a remarkable 3.95 GPA, he earned the 2021-2022 Scholar Athlete award and was named an Honor Graduate in 2024. His academic excellence extended beyond the classroom, as he received the 2023 Mercer University Certificate of Achievement and Service and was a finalist in the 2023 Spencer B. King, Jr. Creative Writing Scholarship Competition. Additionally, in 2021, he was nominated for Governor’s Honors in Mathematics. A dedicated student and athlete, Christian was actively involved in numerous school organizations including the National Honor Society, Student Council, Latin Club, Medical United Club, and Beta Club. His commitment to community service is evident through his work as a lifeguard and CPR certification, alongside volunteering as a coach at youth football camps and working at church food banks.
