Christian McPherson

Biography

CJ McPherson is a dynamic new guard at Tennessee Tech University, bringing elite scoring ability and leadership to the Golden Eagles. A transfer from USC Salkehatchie, CJ earned NJCAA All-American honors in addition to being named Region 10 Player of the Year, one of the most competitive JUCO conferences in the country. The Virginia Beach, Virginia native is also one of the best shooters in the country, knocking down 45% of his threes on more than 7 attempts per game during his last season of junior college basketball. Now at Tennessee Tech, CJ is focused on helping his team compete for an OVC title while continuing to grow his personal brand on and off the court. CJ is also a high-academic student, with a current GPA of 4.0. CJ is excited to connect with fans and brands that share his values of hard work, consistency, and community. CJ is passionate about collaborating with brands that reflect his active lifestyle and personal interests. He’s especially drawn to partnerships in the sports, fitness, and lifestyle industries, including athletic performance gear, apparel, and footwear. He also values opportunities in health and wellness, and food and beverage, allowing him to highlight his cooking abilities but also his focus on taking care of his body as a high-level athlete.
