Ethan Woods

Biography

I'm in my fifth year as a wrestler at Stanford University studying aerospace engineering. I'm the first person from my small village of Manchester, Michigan, to attend Stanford. I attribute this to the hard work ethic and determination that I have developed through wrestling and my drive to excel athletically and academically, despite the limited resources that come with such a small town. I also come from a hands-on environment and family, so I have experience with carpentry, landscaping, electrical work, automotive work, and more. I am very passionate about all things space and would love to work with rovers someday. This past summer, I was able to work at an aeronautical startup called LTA, where I got to help with the development and building of a new and improved airship. Outside of school and wrestling, I am a huge outdoorsman; I grew up hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and working outdoors. I love to cook and eat food, which comes from having parents and grandparents who are amazing cooks. I am also an avid movie and tv watcher, which I often do to decompress from my busy schedule.
