Career Highlights:

As a Freshman (2019), I saw action in 28 matches, appearing in 75 sets, earning 18 starts, and led the team in blocks against Oregon, Bryant, and Wake Forest. Finishing the season, I had 48 total blocks and 51 kills, hitting a season-best .667 against Virginia Tech, 8 kills against Clemson, and 5 blocks against Wake Forest. As a Sophomore (2020), I hit a .268 with 69 kills, 1.15 blocks per set, played in 60 sets across 18 matches leading the team in total blocks with 60. In our first match against Louisville, I had 4 kills and no errors, and in our second match, I had 7 kills, and 4 blocks. In our only match against Pitt, I had 8 blocks, and in our only match against Georgia Tech, I had 6 kills. During the Spring, I hit a .529 with 10 kills and 7 blocks against Miami, and posted 7 kills with a .333 attack rate and 3 blocks against Virginia Tech to earn ACC Player of the Week. I ended the season with 8 blocks and 4 kills at Wake Forest. As a Junior (2021), I led the team in blocks at 117 with .98 blocks per set over 33 match starts and hit a .256 with 87 kills. I tied for second with 26 standing float service aces and 63 digs. I tallied an error-free 5 kills with a .556 hitting percentage against Northeastern, 9 blocks against Virginia Tech, and 7 blocks against Wake Forest. Finishing the season, I had an error-free 6 kills, hitting .600 with a career-high of 11 blocks, which tied the 5th-most blocks in a single match in program history against Virginia, earning Eagle of the Week. Being team captain of the past season, I have learned the importance of leadership, dealing with adversity, and communication as I filled the role of both starting Middle and Switch Blocking on the Right-side. With exposure to play against ACC, Big Ten, Pac 12, and many other competitive conferences, I've gained experience against a diverse list of offenses and defense. I helped push the team to the NIVC Tournament for the program's first postseason play (2019) and in the program's 2nd appearance in 2021 to earn the program's 1st postseason win. After competing in the postseason this past year, one of my goals is to help my new team make it to the NCAA Tournament.
