Heidi Faramelli

Biography

I’m a longtime volleyball player who is now at the collegiate level. I am a massive supporter of and advocate for mental health. I have personally experienced the highest highs and lowest lows of mental health; I have anxiety and just recently received a potential bipolar diagnosis. Yet you wouldn’t know that by looking at me — I do not allow my diagnoses to define the woman that I am! I am trying my best to help as many athletes and people as possible by showing people that their mental health struggles do not define them; in fact, they make them even stronger.
