Jayda Gibson

Biography

Originally, born and raised in Dallas, I am a transfer student from the University of Tulsa, entering my third year of eligibility with the NCAA. Whenever I am not practicing at the track, I enjoy serving my community, reading, and writing in my free time. One of my biggest goals after completing my education has always been to leave an impact on my community and/or team. I strive to help others in need and never hesitate to take leadership when necessary. My optimistic and persistent attitude fuels my drive to encourage others who surround me so that they, too, can realize their value and impact others.
