Joe Zweben

Biography

As a student-athlete committed to academic and athletic excellence, I am pursuing my undergraduate degree at Pace University. My passion for teamwork, leadership, and resilience has been shaped through my experiences as a goalkeeper for Pace University Men's Soccer and previously for Caldwell University, as well as competitive clubs like Long Island Slammers and East Coast FC. Beyond the field, I am an active member of my community, volunteering as a coach with TOPSoccer to teach and mentor individuals with developmental disabilities. I have also served as a tutor and mentor through the National Honor Society and the GEM Mentoring Program, helping younger students navigate academic and personal challenges. My dedication to service extends to my leadership role in Student-Athletes in Service of Others (SASO), where I help organize life skills programs and peer tutoring. I am also a proud member of Best Buddies, fostering inclusion and friendship among individuals of all abilities. Professionally, I have gained hands-on experience in facility management as a summer custodian at South Side High School and developed coaching skills as a self-employed goalkeeper trainer, helping young athletes refine their skills and conditioning. I am eager to continue growing as a student and athlete while leveraging my teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills in future professional opportunities.
