Biography

My name is Layland Albritton, and I am currently a defensive back at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I stand 5 feet 10 inches tall and weigh 165 pounds. Before joining Coe College, I attended Destin High School in Destin, Florida, where I played as a defensive back, running back, and wide receiver, proudly wearing jersey numbers 0 and 4. I’ve always been known for my speed and agility, running a 4.52-second 40-yard dash. I also competed in track and field, excelling in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 110-meter hurdles, and long jump. One of my proudest achievements was clocking a personal best of 57.34 seconds in the 400 meters at the Seahawks Invitational in March 2024. Along with my athletic pursuits, I was dedicated to my academics, maintaining a GPA of 3.4 throughout high school. My personal goal in life is to be the best athlete I can be and to give my all in everything I do. I also strive to help others who face obstacles in life, as I believe it’s important to support those around us. I’m excited to continue my journey at Coe College and push myself both on and off the field.

Career Highlights:
