Malachi Coleman

Biography

I’m Malachi Coleman and I play football for the University of Minnesota. Sports have given me so many opportunities, but what really drives me is the chance to give back and connect with people. I love meeting new faces, hearing different stories, and finding ways to make a positive impact on others. I started my college career at Nebraska, where I learned and grew as both a player and a person. Now, at Minnesota, I’m ready to take the next step—on and off the field. Football is my passion, but so is using my platform to inspire and support those around That’s why I started Fly Like Chi, a foundation dedicated to supporting foster children and giving them the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to chase their dreams. As someone who’s experienced the challenges of the foster system, I know how important it is to have people who believe in you. No matter where this journey takes me, my goal remains the same: to work hard, lift others up, and make every connection count.
