I am from Arlington, Texas. I come from a proud Cameroonian heritage, and as a first-generation college student, the path has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. You might know me as the 2023 NCAA wrestling champion in the 197-weight class, representing Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. It's not just about the victories on the mat for me; it's about breaking barriers and proving that with determination, anything is possible. My roots run deep, and I carry the spirit of Cameroon with me in every match. But it's not just about personal success. I believe in giving back, which is why I'm passionate about volunteering at training camps for young wrestlers. I want to uplift the next generation, share my experiences, and help them discover their potential in the world of wrestling. Wartburg College has become my home away from home, and I'm grateful for the opportunities it has provided. As I continue to navigate the world of academics and athletics, my goal is not only to be a wrestling champion in 2024 but to continue my career at a university for my masters and then onto a professional level.
