Hi! I’m Sophie Drollinger. I grew up in Oregon and Washington, where my love for volleyball started at a really young age. I began playing club volleyball when I was just seven, and I’ve been around the game for as long as I can remember. Both of my older sisters played, and watching them inspired me to follow in their footsteps. When I was 12, my family moved to Arizona, and I continued my volleyball journey there. I played throughout high school at Queen Creek High School, and now I go to Benedictine University in Arizona. I’m majoring in Marketing and play both indoor and beach volleyball—and I absolutely love being a student-athlete. In addition to playing, I’m also a club volleyball coach for 14s and 15s girls teams. Coaching has been such a rewarding experience—it’s allowed me to give back to the sport I love and help younger athletes grow in both their skills and confidence. Volleyball has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m so grateful to keep playing the sport I love while growing both on and off the court.
