Biography
My name is Trey Rusthoven and I am a professional golfer from St. Peters, Missouri. I am currently competing on the APGA Tour and working to continue building my game at the professional level. I played Division I golf at Central Michigan University for one year and was named to the 2023-24 BCGCA/GCAA Division I All-Freshman Team. Since turning professional, I have earned full-time APGA Tour status and continue to compete against some of the best up-and-coming players in the game. I am also continuing to build my professional brand through relationships with Titleist, TravisMathew, Foresight Sports, ELV8 Golf, Swannies Golf, and other supporters who believe in my journey. Golf has given me a lot of opportunities, and I am focused on continuing to grow as a player, build my brand, and use my journey to inspire the next generation of golfers.

I am currently competing as a full-time professional golfer on the APGA Tour. In 2025, I finished T3 at the Jefferson Health APGA Classic in Philadelphia and also made the cut at the APGA Daugherty Foundation Championship in St. Louis, finishing T14 after opening with a 67 and putting myself near the top of the leaderboard. Before turning professional, I played Division I golf at Central Michigan University and was named to the 2023-24 BCGCA/GCAA Division I All-Freshman Team. As a junior and high school golfer, I competed in several national events, including the U.S. Junior Amateur, Junior PGA Championship, Mack Champ Invitational, Southwest Airlines Showcase, and Steph Curry’s Underrated Golf Tour. I finished top 10 in multiple national junior events, including three top-10 finishes at the Mack Champ Invitational with two top-5 finishes. In high school, I was named the 2023 STLToday/Post-Dispatch Golfer of the Year, was a 3-time MSHSAA Class 4 State Medalist, 3-time All-District player, back-to-back District Champion, 2-time Gateway Athletic Conference Player of the Year, 3-time First Team All-Conference selection, and 3-time STLToday All-Metro Team selection. I also lost only one high school match over three seasons. I am continuing to build my professional career one event, one opportunity, and one swing at a time.
