Vada Williams

Biography

I am a Las Vegas native. Experiencing student programs and community services sparked my desire for student leadership. After graduating and at the beginning of the 2020–21 academic year, I relocated to Chicago. Chicago State University was where I started my studies in business management. As the Honors College Freshman of the Year (2021) and Honors College Sophomore of the Year (2022), I have received two university-wide awards. As the second-term president of athletics, I am actively involved with both the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Honors College. This is my second year as Chicago State University's Men's Golf Captain. Last school year, the Dean of Students selected me for three task force groups on campus for the 2022-2023 school year. This past summer I interned as a Dee M. Robinson fellow at the First Tee of Greater Charleston as a Lead golf coach directing programming this summer in Charleston, South Carolina. I will further my education with an MBA since I have NCAA 3 more years of NCAA eligibility.
